Just outside your door, you'll find plenty of activities for the whole family in the resort community of Bolton Landing, New York.  Take the kids to one of the three public beaches, rent a party boat and spend a lazy afternoon on the lake swimming or wetting a line where some of the best fishing for lake trout and land-locked salmon in the northeast can be found, or enjoy the gorgeous views of Lake George and its many islands on the numerous hiking trails that are perfect for all ages and abilities.  And of course, take advantage of the legendary Sagamore Golf Course next door, a challenging course designed and built under the supervision of Donald Ross in 1928 that features small, firm and fast greens that often slope severely from back to front.
